March BJP I could not even sit to bead for a while..I sometimes struggle with intense anxiety so its hard to be still. I could not think of :the sunlight of the spirit". Then I was getting anxious because I was getting behind. Finally I decided to bead my anxiety. I hand painted some Lutradur that I bought from Quilting Arts on line store. Pretty fun. Then I melted it with a heat gun. I did some stamping as well. I tried to figure which colors radiate anxiety...Who knows. It may be a little orderly for anxiety but I think it may have put a space between my anxiety and my person. I messed around with some texture ,the ups and downs and arounds.

Hi Julie
This is an interesting page. It seems to depict to me what anxiety would feel like. But its good that you could work on it while in that state. Its an accomplishment.
I love that new stitch you came up with! The one with the orange bugle beads!
Great piece, I love the high and lows of it as you said, I can see where you bead your life's high and lows into it.
I also love the background, the photo doesn't do the texture justice.
Wonderfully textured piece, Julie! And I agree with Brenda -- that stitch with the orange beads is awesome . . .

It worked in spite of your state. Good job. Thanks for visiting me too.
Wow, Julie, so many thoughts now about this piece! First, I was struck by how the two different pictures give totally opposite impressions. The top one is soft and beautiful, the lower one conveys all the angst and darkeness that must be part of anxiety. Yikes! When I clicked the first to enlarge it, I didn't even notice the stress holes in the top fabric layer, but in the lower picture the holes are a huge part of the impression. Maybe the top photo shows what the world sees regarding your anxiety and the lower one is about your inside experience of anxiety. Anyway, I'm so glad you let yourself get unstuck by allowing your beads to speak your truth. Yes, I know... I harp on that, don't I? And I don't always follow my own harp... In this case, Julie, you are a star in the truth department! Love, Robin
Well, your anxiety has lead you to making something very beautiful, indeed. You managed to express that disturbing feeling/state very clearly and to ward it off at the same time. Fantastic work, Julie.

Oh this is beautiful! I have anxiety too and this depicts it great with the very bright colors and bumpy etc. Know exactly what you're talking about.
Well despite your state of anxiety, your page is gorgeous. Every month I look foward to seeing your latest - I love your beading, it seems so.... "true", like the beading is coming right straight from your heart. Thank you!
What an incredible work of art! This is just great! I really like all the depth, texture & mixed media! Great job showing your feelings in such an awesome piece!
Warmest aloha,

What a beautiful contrast in color between Feb and March. I love the randomness, yet orderliness of your beads. They flow. New inspiration. Thanks for the compliment on my Jan. project.
Nice piece, very colourful (I love orange !), and great use of the ruffle technique !
