I have just been playing with colors that make me feel good. Orange is pleasing me and I also was experimenting with ruffles and the green swirls. I like where the dragonfly landed accidentally.

- I was taught to bead embroidery about 15 years ago by my sister-in-law, Robin Atkins. Bead embroidery workswell for me because I don't have pressure of rules. I feel relaxed while I bead for that very reason. I've used bead embroidery as a way to handle anxiety, a chronic problem for me. I discovered I love texture. So I took a class in free form peyote, and made some jewelry that I really like. My husband completed his degree in Liberal Arts with a focus in studio arts. As he was learning, I learned a lot from him and discovered how many art forms are out there. We work well together, and collaborate frequently. In last few years, I've gone wild with rubber stamping, collage, altered art and ATCs. It's all sooooo coooool!!!
